Chapter 22

1.  Pick two countries in Chapter 22 and provide an in depth paragraph on their government and how it operates.
Britians Government does not have a written constitution.  Instead it is made up of many different documents.  They have a leader and 2 houses, the house of lords and the house of commons.  Their leader is called the Prime Minister, who is chosen by the legislature.  They also have a king and queen.

Japan started their government after WWII.  The US helped them write their constituition.  They have a  House of Councillors and the House of Representatives.  The prime minister is chosen by the House of Representatives.  The prime minister then chooses the heads of departments and his cabinet.

2. What are some of the similarities of the countries that are in Chapter 22?
All of the countries have different branches.  They also have someone who is in charge, whether it be the president or a prime minister.  Each country also has some form of a constitution.

3. What are some of the differences of the countries that are in Chapter 22?
They each have different types of leaders.  Their election process' are different.  They way the decide things and debate.
4. Which country in Chapter 22 do you believe has the strongest government and why?
I believe that Great Britian has a strong government.  Everyone speaks their mind, and their way of governing is working. 
5. In what ways does the U.S. government relate to the methods of governments listed in Chapter 22?
The US has a leader, the president.  We also have 2 branches in the government.
